In 2011, solar panels were installed at Cross on the roof, and a few other places where the amount of sun received would help pay our electric bill. Currently, 20% of our electric bill is being covered by these solar panels.
Our solar panels were used by Organizing for Action (OFA) on June 21st, 2014, an OFA national day of action, to point out the advantages of renewable energy to reduce carbon emissions. This was one of sixty-five actions around the country highlighting the benefits of solar power.
