2nd Lesson Readers and Children’s Sermons

Reminders:

  • Speak clearly, slowly and loudly.
  • If you are reading the lesson, speak into the microphone.
  • If you are doing the Children’s Sermon, use the cordless microphone for yourself and the children.

Other notes for the Children’s Sermon:

  • Include all children by asking questions and getting their responses, as appropriate. Look for children sitting behind the pulpit.
  • Limit your presentation to 5-10 minutes.
  • DO NOT GIVE SWEETS/CANDY to the children. (They can cause a variety of problems.)
  • Keep the message simple and to the point. You are talking to children.
  • For ideas, consult sermons4kids.com for ideas. Another option is www.childrensermons.com. From their main page, select Sermons in English or Spanish.
